The Evening Banquet Tour at the Hobbiton™ Movie Set invites you to immerse yourself in the magic of The Shire™ as twilight sets in. This enchanting event begins with a guided tour through the iconic 12-acre movie set, where you’ll wander along the picturesque paths of Bagshot Row™, admire the charming Hobbit Holes™, and relive the magic of the films. As the sun dips below the rolling hills, your journey leads you to The Millhouse and across the beautifully lit stone bridge to the famed Green Dragon™ Inn.
Once inside the cozy ambiance of the Green Dragon Inn, you’ll be treated to a sumptuous banquet fit for a Hobbit. Long tables are laden with an impressive array of delicious dishes, inspired by Middle-earth’s hearty fare. Guests are encouraged to eat to their heart’s content, with the warm atmosphere of fellowship and celebration filling the room. The lively feast is complemented by roaring fires and flickering lanterns, creating a truly magical and unforgettable dining experience.
The evening concludes with a captivating lantern-lit walk back through The Shire. Pathways glow softly under the light of the lanterns, and chimneys puff gently into the night air, making the experience feel like stepping into a dream. Connect with fellow attendees and have a fun night out at Friday evening’s Gala Dinner. Hosted at the wonderful Viaduct Events Centre, overlooking the Waitematā harbour.
Our meeting’s theme, working together, will be celebrated through a three-course menu featuring international and local cuisine, interactive activities for some not-so-serious collaboration, and a live band and dance floor to see the evening out.
